Highbridge Human Capital is excited to working with our client, Bluepoint Construction, in their search for an AP Clerk.

Positioned as a leader in their space, Bluepoint Construction leads a wide array of civil construction projects that include roadbuilding, lake intakes, mass excavations, large diameter pipelines and other civil construction for subdivisions, municipalities, and airports. Bluepoint is looking for an AP Clerk to join their team at our downtown offices in Kelowna, BC.

A day in the life of the AP Clerk – what you will do:

Accounts Payable

  • Invoice Coding
  • Statement reconciliation
  • AP Inquiries

Office/Administrative Duties

  • Data Entry, filling, photocopying, scanning, etc
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Sort & distribute mail
  • Assisting all other team members when required
  • Greet clients/customers

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday-Friday

Our “must haves”:

  • You have intermediate experience with MS Excel, specifically, experience with Pivot tables and general formulas
  • 2-3 years experience in an AP Clerk role
  • Experience with VistaPoint software is a plus
  • You have strong analytical, technology, communication and organizational skills
  • You have experience within the civil construction industry and project costing is highly desirable
  • You possess a Class 5 drivers license.
  • You possess strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • You have a knack for problem-solving.
  • You are an excellent team player with a flexible approach, responding positively to any reasonable request and have the ability to work independently.
  • Responsible and dependable. Acknowledges the presence of choice in every moment and takes personal responsibility for their life.
  • Self-awareness, with a desire for constant self-improvement, goal oriented.
