Job Overview
The Rim Laminator is responsible for the lamination process of wheel rims. This position requires attention to detail, quality control and providing excellent customer service.
A day in the life of a Rim Laminator
As the Rim Laminator, you will:
- Inspect wheel rims before and during the lamination process to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform lamination process on wheel rims using lifting, holding and clamping devices.
- Quote prices for lamination services and provide clients with estimated completion time frames.
- Accurately record the details of each lamination job and complete necessary paperwork.
- Provide consulting support and advice to customers about wheel rim lamination and associated products.
- Test wheel rim lamination process to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Use appropriate machinery and tools to perform lamination services.
- Monitor lamination jobs and processes to ensure high quality control.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on machinery and tools used for wheel rim lamination.
A little about you:
Skill Requirements
- Previous experience in wheel rim lamination.
- Proven track record in quality assurance and control.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift and manipulate wheel rims weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
