Current Opportunity:
Our administration department is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator based in Enderby, BC.

Reporting to the CEO, the Human Resources Coordinator is a hands-on role that provides Human Resources support to the company’s people initiative. Providing great internal customer support, the HR Coordinator will act as a trusted advisor to the executive team and play a vital role in the development and implementation of HR programs, processes, and policies. The role will manage HR activities by supporting employee relations, managing and maintaining employee data, supporting the administration of payroll and compensation, creating HR communications, and acting as a support and advisor to management.


  • Stay abreast of policies and laws impacting human resources, making necessary recommendations and collaborating with external consultant on revisions to current policies, procedures and related documents
  • Provide guidance and advice to management and employees on Human Resources related matters in accordance with applicable legislations as well as internal policies, processes, and procedures
  • Communicates regularly with executives, management, employees, governing leadership and various stakeholders, with an ability to build positive relationships.
  • Work alongside payroll to ensure employee data and records are managed accordingly and support the administration of leave of absence requests.
  • Support aspects of the recruitment and interviewing process including job description development/revisions, interviewing, drafting offer letters and conducting onboarding.
  • Lead effective off-boarding as required, including conducting exit interviews.
  • Lead employee communications related to all HR policies and activities.
  • Assisting accounting staff with various duties as required.
  • Organizing company-wide events and team building events
  • Support Logistics department as needed.
  • Recognize and celebrate employee successes.
  • Participate in or lead special projects and task groups.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding HR and financial transactions.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative and coordination experience, preferably specifically related to Human Resources
  • Knowledge of Federal, Provincial, and Local laws and regulations
  • Knowledge and experience working with a First Nations organization is valued
  • Advanced ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task, and manage time
  • Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision
  • Desire to advance one’s career and skill set
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Solid team player and interpersonal skills
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Discretion and respect for confidentiality
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with MS office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
